A Look Back at 2015

In the world of jewelry 2015 must be remembered as the year of the tassel. Suede, chain, leather, beaded, bejeweled. feather, and even horsehair were the materials of choice. Our Jeremiah necklace (above) sports a suede tassel embellished with an earthy slice of a deer antler and a bronzite teardrop.

Our very best selling necklace this year was the Cordelle tassel necklace fashioned with antique silver chains captured in a cap of tiny pearls. Simple and stunning really fits the bill.

My personal favorite is the Tamara necklace, a strand of recycled glass with a suede tassel sporting our hand woven beading. Picture this on a denim or plaid shirt for that "lumber sexual" look!

Can you dress up a tassel necklace? You betcha. Our Maris necklace was selected by Rachael Ray's stylist for Rachael to wear on her September 29 show. So glad she didn't dip it in the gravy!

You really have to squint to find the Maris necklace on Rachael's flowered top, but trust me, it's there!

And what about the tassel necklaces of the future? We predict the trend will continue, and here is a sneak peak of our Zoe necklace for 2016 made from natural Greek leather, white sponge coral and antique silver chain.
