My recent trip to NYC turned out to be a fashion bonanza. Little did I know that Bergdorf Goodman had recently refurbished their ground level introducing a mind blowing jewelry department that was a sight to behold.
There were many amazing features, but my favorite touch were the 1920's inspired mirrored showcases...... stunning!
And the jewelry was over the top with selections from top designers worldwide. One of my favorites was this piece from Armenta.
Moving further up 5th Ave., I visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Their Anna Winter Costume Center is currently featuring a retrospective on Jacqueline de Ribes pictured here amongst the gowns she both purchased and designed over the years.
This fabulous gown from the 70's was embellished with jewelry that would be so appropriate today, chokers and long layers.
And last, but not least, the reason for my trip...Myrna Halpern Jewelry. This is a glimpse of a part of my Spring Collection available to the trade at Sola Showroom in Gramercy Park. For more information visit www.myrnahalpern.com.
