Sometimes "life" gets in the way of my very best intentions. I cannot believe that it has been exactly six months to the day since my last blog post, but I'm finally back with new stories to share. It's a brand new year with gorgeous new jewelry in our NYC showroom that we just posted on our website.
We have added some interesting new materials for spring/summer 2017. The Emma bracelets pictured above feature yellow tree resin called copal, painted and etched horn, picture jasper, antler slices, and brown turquoise!
Color schemes for my new jewelry collections are influenced by my love of fashion and Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten is clearly a master when it comes to color.
As you know, hand woven beading is a trademark of Myrna Halpern Jewelry. This season we are introducing the Franz necklaces which epitomize the Bohemian vibe we so love We've added fringe and more carved and painted horn beads to the mix.
Speaking of a Bohemian vibe, no one does it better than Ulla Johnson whose amazing orange silk jumpsuit would be the perfect frock to wear with every single piece of my new jewelry.
You would have to be living under a rock to miss the fact that tassels still reign supreme in the fashion world. They are everywhere! We encircle ours with woven beads, of course!
I cannot end this blog without a nod to the amazing Clare Waight Keller, creative director for Chloe. As you can see, her aesthetic pairs beautifully with my new collection.
